After months of research, hunting, blundering, and breaking, I finally completed Monster Hunter: Rise! I didn’t go into this game half-cocked like most people do. I actually studied the game before I even got it. This guide will be your one-stop-shop for everything you need to know about this game’s monster negotiation system.
Monster Hunter is a video game series that has been around for a while and in this series you’re fighting in a world of monsters and in this world there’s a special kind of monster called the “Buddy” to fight with. So, in this guide you will learn everything you need to know about the monster called the “Buddy” and the bargaining system.
If you know me, you will know I am a huge fan of Monster Hunter. I’ve followed the series since its inception and never did I imagine that one day I would be able to complete the entirety of the game.
Do you like having a pantry full of healing goods in Monster Hunter Rise, but find picking up every plant and honey you come across throughout your hunts to be tedious? When collecting becomes a hassle, Buddy Bargaining is always a good option.
Monster Hunter Rise’s method to farming is Buddy Bargaining. You may acquire a number of things by sending your hired Buddies out with the Argosy, which you would usually have to spend time harvesting out in the field. Buddy Bargaining is a fantastic method to maintain up your supply of materials if you find yourself making a lot of particular things.
We’ll go over everything you need to know about Buddy Bargaining in this post, from putting up your Requests for Trade to unlocking Argosy improvements. Let’s get this party started!
Bargaining Guide for Monster Hunter Rise Buddies
Before we get started, it’s essential to remember that farming is just one of the Argosy’s offerings. Check out our full Argosy guide if you want to get the most out of this great trade resource!
Trade Requests
You may start trading at any moment by chatting with Rondine in the Buddy Plaza, as we stated in the Argosy tutorial. To access the Buddy Bargaining menu, just choose the “Order Items” option while trading.
You may create and manage your Trade Requests from this page. The first stage is to decide which Buddies will accompany the Argosy on its journey. Buddies that aren’t in training, the Meowcenaries, or assigned to your hunting party will be available for trade. When selecting who to send, bear in mind that higher-level Buddies have stronger Skills in Bargaining (more on that later). While out with the Argosy, your Buddies will level up, albeit at a slower pace; you may want to switch them out every now and again to get the most out of your deals.
I’m sending my pals out to get supplies.
You may choose the things you wish to trade for after your Buddies have been allocated. There are a variety of options available, but the selection is restricted to things that you would usually be able to collect on your own (i.e. mushrooms, plants, bugs, and fish). You won’t be able to harvest monster parts or account goods this way, but the Argosy will sometimes reward you for making trade requests with bonuses. Check in often to see whether you’ve won anything unique, since these uncommon goods may unlock new weapons and armor sets.

End your discussion with Rondine and quick-travel to the Gathering Hub after you’ve put up your Trade Requests and seen the brief cutscene of the submarines launching. You may see your Buddies on the first leg of their trip if you rush out to the location overlooking the river. Encourage them with a wave, and they’ll return the wave!

Bargaining Skills
After you’ve set up your Trade Requests, it’s time to maximize your benefits by giving your Buddies unique Bargaining Skills. To bring up a selection of abilities intended to enhance your Buddy’s negotiating ability, choose the “Buddy Bargaining” option, then one of your current requests.
Sriracha is still figuring things out.
As your Buddies level up, they improve their negotiating skills, with new Bargaining Skills added every few levels or so. The higher your Buddy’s level is, the more special abilities they’ll have to assist you maximize your deals. Because each talent has a fixed duration (a number of missions), you’ll want to return to the Argosy to collect your prizes and re-equip your abilities every now and then.

The Argosy is being upgraded.
As you advance through the game, improvements for the Argosy will become available, allowing you to send more Trade Requests at once. Speak with Rondine to get her special requests, which require you to collect a few items for her. You’ll unlock more submarines (up to three) after you’ve fulfilled the requests, allowing you to send more Buddies out to trade.

Monster Hunter: Rise has been out for a bit already. It’s a step up from MH:G. The game has a good story line and good gameplay. The only thing I don’t like is the guide. Considering MH2 is a bit old, it’s just a bad guide. You can get a better guide from Uptempomag. In this guide, the monster hunter is the main character, and he is a buddy of the player. The player can take him on missions, and he is a good helper. He also has a unique ability, he can make the monsters break their aggressive line..
